PROFILE

Profile
I am MA7stamp, a stamp artist.
I create stamps with sophisticated and user-friendly designs.
With my stamps, I aim to allow users to freely envision their own worlds and stories through the illustrations.
I pay particular attention to details, such as a nostalgic atmosphere, characters that seem almost real, and stamps of bears with expressions that seem to be saying something.
Additionally, I propose diverse ways of using the stamps, taking advantage of their unique characteristics.

Career
When attempting to create a New Year’s greeting card, I ventured into the world of eraser stamp carving.
Subsequently, I immersed myself in crafting stamps for diaries and notebooks, and in 2016, I began selling them.
I dedicated myself to designing chic and delicate stamps that align with my preferences.
The character “”Fumiko-san””, designed to be easy for adults to use, gained popularity for its lifelike.
Gradually, I started receiving inquiries from corporations.
In addition to “”Fumiko-san””, I expanded my offerings to include small bear stamps and sketch-like landscape stamps,
among various series.
Around 2021, I transitioned from hand-carved stamps to rubber stamps.
Since 2022, I have participated in events like “Kamihaku”, organized by Tegami-Sha.
Currently I have received numerous orders from both domestic and international customers, with a focus on the Asian region.

Comments
In the current era of widespread social media, the opportunities for self-expression have expanded significantly.
However, there are still individuals who may find drawing illustrations challenging.
In such cases, stamps provide a solution.
With just a simple press, an illustration comes to life.
By changing the ink color or experimenting with stamping techniques, the range of expression can be further widened.
I hope that my stamps can contribute to unleashing the creativity of those who use them.
